Job summary

Nature’s Path Foods is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Driver for the main plant nights in Blaine, WA. You will operate forklifts, conduct safety checks, and support daily production and warehouse tasks while working with a cross-functional team.

The role emphasizes adherence to GMPs, quality standards, and accurate documentation. Night shift includes a differential and a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities to mentor new team members.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months forklift operating experience required.
• Strong attention to safety, quality and detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Comfortable working nights in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts per plant rules and safety regulations.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections and report issues.
• Ensure proper charging and care of forklift equipment.
• Complete and maintain pallets, slip sheets, WIP docs and finished goods labelling.
• Verify products meet quality standards set by Management and QA.
• Label, stage, and prepare finished goods for shipping.
• Maintain operator logs and clear handoffs with team members.
• Participate in handover meetings and Lean initiatives.
• Follow GMPs and food safety requirements.
• Support other tasks as assigned by Warehouse Manager or Shift Supervisor.
