Job summary

R+L Carriers in Colonial Heights, VA is seeking a Full-time Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 AM – 10:30 AM). You will move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long and operate a rooftop dock forklift on a non-climate-controlled site.

Starting pay is $23.44 per hour with 1 week of vacation after 90 days and a comprehensive benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401(k) with company matching and paid time off at company resorts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
