Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Floor Technician for the Abbott Facility to maintain hard floors and carpets. The position requires experience with floor care equipment and professional cleaning services in a corporate environment.

Pay is $24.00 per hour, with a 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM shift Monday through Friday and some weekends. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package and values veterans, encouraging applicants with military backgrounds.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
On-the-job training provided.
Shift: 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM, Mon-Fri with some weekends.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain buildings/facilities, floors, and surfaces.
Operate chemical cleaners and power equipment safely to protect floors and fixtures.
Notify management about repairs or additions to building systems.
Maintain clear communication with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Follow safety, security, and quality standards.
Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
Move furniture and equipment to access cleaning areas.
Clean interior glass, blinds, and mirrors.
Wash or replace blinds.
Gather and dispose of trash.
Perform seasonal tasks like rake leaves or snow removal as needed.
Clean tablets, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
Service and sanitize restrooms.
