Job summary

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Tech to maintain carpet and hard surface floors at our Taylor, TX location. The night shift runs 5:45pm–6am Wednesday to Friday with every other Saturday, paying $20 per hour. The role involves cleaning, maintenance, and following safety protocols to ensure clean, safe facilities.

No prior experience is required as ABM provides on-the-job training. ABM is a veteran-friendly employer and encourages military veterans to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• Military friendly employer; veterans encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
• Notify Manager concerning repairs or additions to building systems
• Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, coworkers, and supervisors
• Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to access areas
• Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Wash and replace blinds
• Gather and empty trash
• Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform seasonal tasks
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
