Job summary

ABM is seeking a Night Supervisor to oversee janitorial staff and ensure top‑tier cleanliness across the facility. The ideal candidate has extensive terrazzo and high‑traffic carpet experience, plus strong leadership and organizational abilities for staff management.

The role requires managing floor care programs, training staff in techniques such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing, and coordinating with vendors on chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial floor care, terrazzo, and high-traffic carpet maintenance is required.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with staff management experience.
• Ability to train staff on floor care techniques and safety protocols.
• Experience selecting appropriate cleaning chemicals and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning, maintenance, and restoration of terrazzo, high-traffic carpet floors, concrete, and hardwood surfaces.
• Implement and manage floor care programs and schedules (daily/weekly/monthly/annual).
• Train staff on floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, and polishing with specialized equipment.
• Evaluate and select cleaning chemicals and coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance.
• Develop and maintain cleaning schedules and conduct inspections to ensure standards.
