Job summary

CCS Facility Services is hiring a Night Floater to maintain cleanliness in office buildings and complexes. You will perform routine janitorial tasks including spot cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal while ensuring safety and security procedures are followed.

The role requires consistent attendance, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Compensation is provided at $17.25–$18.00 per hour in the United States, with an on-site work setting in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean lobby glass doors and polish chrome.
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe surfaces twice daily.
• Clean restrooms and empty exterior trash.
• Sweep stairwells, entrances, and outdoor areas as needed.
• Polish elevator cab rails and doors; assist building Engineer.

Guided by a Service Heart we are a company Built to Serve with a passion to exceed our customer’s expectations.Job Details:A Night Floater is responsible for maintaining common areas of office buildings, apartment houses, or other commercial or institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Spot clean the lobby glass doorsPolish chrome on lobby doorsVacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a dayInspect the building exterior and pick up any trashClean ashtrays and sand urns on every floorEmpty and clean exterior trash receptaclesCheck restrooms twice dailyVacuum lobby once a day or as neededSweep stairwells and landings as neededRemove all debris from landscaped areas as neededSweep building entrancesClean and remove smudges and marks on walls, doors, and wall coveringReport any lights out (exit, directory boards, etc.) to the Management OfficeReport any solicitors to the Management OfficeWhere applicable, police lobby to keep floors and planters free of paper, debris, etc. Policing should be scheduled at high-traffic times each day.
