Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN for Night shift at our Paulding campus in Georgia. This role involves float coverage within Med Surg/CDU and possibly observation units, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a Magnet-designated environment.

The RN will work in a multidisciplinary team guided by Wellstar’s Shared Governance Model and professional practice standards, upholding the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics. A sign-on bonus is available for experienced RNs.

Qualifications

• RN licensing required (Georgia) and adherence to Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Evidence-based nursing practice is applied to patient care.
• Care delivered in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; outcomes; planning; implementation; evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with patient and families using bedside shifts, interdisciplinary rounds and patient education.
• Practices according to current clinical practice standards.
