Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking an Night Float Anesthesiologist for Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY. The role involves comprehensive anesthesia care, pre-op evaluations, and planning with patients, with a schedule of 26 weeks on and 26 weeks off, typically 7pm–7am.

Requirements include MD or DO, completion of Anesthesiology Residency, board eligibility or certification, and current medical licensure. ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Position Requirements Description Night Float opportunity with 84-bed Northern Dutchess Hospital in charming Rhinebeck, NY. It is part of the Nuvance Health™ system, which includes seven hospitals and several outpatient facilities serving both the Hudson Valley of New York and western Connecticut. Case Assignments & Schedule

• Endo, ortho, general, OB, ENT, uro, and chronic pain
