Job summary

Clarke in Labelle, FL is seeking a Seasonal Night Driver Technician to help control adult mosquito populations by ensuring spray equipment works properly and applying ULV product to contracted communities and other harborage areas. This graveyard shift role is ideal for someone passionate about public health.

You will drive a company vehicle, follow routes, document activity, perform equipment inspections, and train as needed.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school degree or equivalent with high school level math skills.
• Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal forms.
• Have a valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to sit and drive a vehicle for extensive amounts of time following specified routes.
• Must be able to work through the end of our 2026 season (November/December).
• Flexibility to work a day shift if necessary and perform residential mosquito control services of adult mosquito populations.
• Must be available to work Monday- Friday, 6:00pm - 2:00am (shifts may vary, some holiday and weekends required).
• Capable of using handheld technical device including, but not limited to, smartphones, GPS, and system applications.
• Candidate must be comfortable performing assigned duties while operating a vehicle through various residential communities, urban environments and traffic patterns where environmental conditions are affected by weather, pedestrians and other operating vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to apply a mosquito control product to contracted communities, subdivisions, industrial sites, and other harborage areas.
• Navigate routes and ensure treatments are applied accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
• Document all activity to ensure customer contracts are completed.
• Perform inspections and maintenance on equipment, attend training, and assist in other field tasks.
