Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an EMT to provide Basic Life Support during night shifts at the Mobile Health site in Bordentown, NJ. You will follow patient care protocols, ensure vehicle readiness, and communicate effectively with the team and patients.

Opportunities to advance from BLS to ALS, free CEUs for recertification, and full benefits for eligible staff are available. Requires NJ EMT cert, BLS, Hazmat, IC/NIMS, and WMD training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Graduate or GED.
• Current Driver's License and must satisfy insurer requirements.
• New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, or National Registry EMT Certification.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider (CPR).
• Hazmat Awareness Certification.
• Must possess IC 100, 200, and NIMS 700, 800.
• Must have completed Weapons of Mass Destruction or CBRNE Awareness training.

Responsibilities

• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) to patients following established protocols.
• Operate department vehicles in accordance with NJ laws and policies.
• Complete patient care documentation per MH procedures.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, partners, and patients.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and notify supervisors of deficiencies.
