Job summary

Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC) Mishawaka hospital seeks an Overnight Licensed Veterinary Technician to provide high-quality emergency nursing care on the front lines. You’ll participate in triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care with a supportive team.

You’ll collaborate with doctors and teammates to ensure compassionate, efficient care for pets and their families during stressful moments, while growing your skills in a fast-paced ER setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with VTNE required.
• 2+ years ER experience preferred.
• Excellent communicator under pressure and able to work calmly.
• Fine motor skills and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat patients across a range of emergencies.
• Deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support.
• Assist with anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to plan care.
