Job summary

Rimtec Corporation, a PVC compounding manufacturer in Burlington, NJ, seeks an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic for overnight shifts. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot motor controls, and install control panels while following NEC codes and safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of industrial maintenance, blueprint literacy, and experience with PLCs/HMIs, plus capability to work nights and lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or trade certification is preferred.
• Three+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with electrical/mechanical focus.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, PIDs, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery during overnight operations.
• Troubleshoot motor control systems, relays, contactors, and VFDs.
• Install, wire, and test control panels per NEC and local codes.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Document repairs and maintain maintenance logs.
• Follow lockout/tagout and OSHA procedures.
