Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is seeking a senior EEG technician to perform electroencephalograms with minimal supervision, ensuring accurate interpretation and reporting. The role emphasizes safe patient care, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with patients and medical staff.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, ABRET registry eligibility, and at least one year of EEG experience. Shift hours are 7PM–7AM, with a competitive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Is registry eligible according to ABRET guidelines.
• At least 1 year EEG Technician experience if END program not completed.
• Proficient in using digital EEG equipment and standard office devices.
• Shift: 7PM-7AM.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG testing independently and interpret results with accuracy.
• Maintain cleaning and disinfection of EEG equipment, supplies and electrodes.
• Exchange information with patients, physicians and staff; respond to medical situations.
• Participate in safety initiatives and complete safety-related competencies.
• Adhere to culture and service excellence guidelines.
