Job summary

Saint Luke’s Hospital is seeking a compassionate ED Technician to support patient care in the Emergency Department. The role involves direct and indirect patient tasks, daily living assistance, and close collaboration with RNs and LPNs.

Ideal candidates may have 1 year of ED CNA/EMT experience, CPR/BLS certification, and a focus on safety and patient satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year applicable experience (ED CNA/EMT) preferred.
• BLS or equivalent CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks.
• Assist with activities of daily living and care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, mobility).
• Anticipate family needs and tailor care accordingly.
• Collaborate with health care team to enhance care delivery.
• Support patient safety and satisfaction through rounds and communication.
