Job summary

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract RN for the Emergency Department in Hopewell, VA. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, across a 13-week engagement in the ED setting.

Ideal candidates will have active RN licensure with BLS/ACL S/PALS, strong IV skills, and trauma experience. Meditech EMR familiarity and ability to work nights are preferred. We offer competitive pay and benefits with housing options and per diem.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS & CPI are required.
• Strong IV skills for adults and pediatrics.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Trauma experience and TNCC preferred.
• Meditech experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide ED nursing care for adults and pediatrics.
• Monitor patients with ED equipment and EMR entries.
• Collaborate with trauma team during emergencies.
• Assist with procedures and patient comfort measures.
