Job summary

The Society of Emergency Medicine PAs (SEMPA) seeks a skilled Per Diem Physician Assistant to join their healthcare team in Seattle. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of emergency medicine cases while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This role includes working overnight shifts and ensuring quality patient care through effective communication and collaboration. A competitive pay range of $100.96 - $119.40 per hour is offered.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with prescriptive authority in Washington.
• Minimum one year of Emergency Medicine or Critical Care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care, including evaluation and treatment.
• Collaborate with attending physicians on emergency conditions management.
• Ensure effective patient handoffs and communication with care teams.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Work overnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
