Job summary

Granite City Electric Supply in Albany, NY seeks a Night Driver to join our delivery team. You will assist with routing, support drivers, handle deliveries, and ensure on-time, safe service to customers.

This role runs 6:30 PM–3:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with hourly pay starting at $23.00 and full benefits. Responsibilities include loading, pre/post trip inspections, DOT-compliant operations, customer communication, and maintaining accurate paperwork while upholding safety and service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years professional driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and Medical DOT Card.
• Experience with routing software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material to customers in an efficient and safe manner.
• Conduct pre & post trip inspections.
• Ensure truck is in safe operating condition and adheres to DOT regulations.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Load/unload and deliver products to customer locations.
