Job summary

St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Community is seeking a dependable night custodian to clean and maintain the parish and school facilities during evening hours.

The role requires working approximately 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., with occasional weekend coverage and a pay range of $16.50–$18.00 per hour based on experience. The custodian will follow schedules, perform deep-cleaning tasks, and ensure safe, welcoming spaces for students, staff, families, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Dependable and consistently present for scheduled shifts.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Professional and respectful communication with parishioners, staff, and families.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation.
• Practicing Catholic is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming carpets and floors.
• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms.
• Dusting surfaces and cleaning touchpoints.
• Emptying trash and recycling.
• Cleaning classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Restocking cleaning supplies.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to facilities director.
• Perform seasonal and periodic deep-cleaning tasks.
