CHKD Medical Group is seeking a CT Technician / Diagnostic Technologist for night shift in the Radiology Diagnostic department at the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters in Norfolk, VA. Under supervision, you will perform CT and radiographic exams to aid in medical diagnosis while maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities include image quality evaluation, collaboration with Radiologists, and support for inpatient, ED and outpatient imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT Certification required.
• Knowledge of CT and Radiographic principles and procedures.
• Experience: 3–12 months to become proficient in producing quality scans.

Responsabilités

• Performs and/or assists with CT and radiographic examinations under supervision.
• Supports inpatient, ED, and outpatient imaging.
• Collaborates with Sedation and Anesthesia for urgent add-on exams.
• Evaluates image quality and ensures patient safety per ALARA.
• Educates patients and families and assists orientation of staff.
