Qualifications

  • New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry or NMTCB prior to first day.
  • Advanced certification required within 24 months for new hires after March 10, 2024.
  • Certified Radiology Technologist within 12 months – ARRT.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure correct orders and patient preparation for exams.
  • Utilize imaging protocols while ensuring patient safety.
  • Administer medications through vascular access as prescribed.
  • Evaluate images for quality and storage.
  • Educate students and healthcare providers.
  • Assist with interventional computed tomography procedures.
  • Perform prescribed computed tomography procedures.
