Job summary

Emory Healthcare, located in Atlanta, GA, seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its growing CT Surgery team. This role involves working 3/12 hour night shifts. Candidates should have completion of an accredited program, appropriate certifications, and preferably two years of CT Surgery experience. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, documenting care, assisting with diagnoses, and performing treatments. Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
• Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in Georgia or certified as a Physician Assistant.
• At least two years of CT Surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
• Documents care delivery in medical records.
• Performs physical examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Assists physician in diagnosing medical problems and developing care plans.
• Orders and performs laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
