Job summary

Saddle Creek is hiring a Cross Dock Associate in Chester, VA, working Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM. You’ll handle loose freight, load/unload, sort, stage, and move products in a distribution center under safety guidelines.

Candidates should be able to pass screenings and perform physically demanding warehouse tasks. Base pay is $17.00 with $1.00 shift pay, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years or older and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to perform physically demanding warehouse tasks in non-air-conditioned or heated environments.
• Experience with warehouse operations and basic computer use is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as order picking.
• Load trucks, considering weight, size, and product characteristics.
• Use handheld scanners for WMS compliance.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Provide outstanding service to customers and complete tasks promptly.
• Follow safety policies to ensure a safe workplace for all.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
