Job summary

Shaw’s and Star Market is seeking a Stocker to keep shelves stocked and the store ready for customers. On daytime shifts you’ll stock products, organize shelves, and assist customers with questions or locating items; overnight shifts focus on deliveries, restocking, and resetting displays with little to no customer traffic.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in stocking, ability to operate pallet jacks, and flexibility to work day, evening, or overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves on the floor during daytime hours and assist customers with locating items.
• Prepare store for the next day during overnight shifts; work through deliveries and reset displays.
• Maintain clean, organized backrooms and stock areas.
• Operate store equipment safely and follow safety procedures and stocking processes.
• Adapt to varied shifts including day, evening, and overnight.
