Jewel-Osco in Highland Park, IL is seeking a Stocker to keep shelves stocked and the store ready for customers. You’ll work on the floor during the day, stocking products, organizing shelves, and helping customers locate items. Overnight shifts focus on deliveries, stocking, and display resets without customer traffic.

You’ll also move items from backroom to sales floor, rotate stock, and maintain clean aisles. This role fits someone who enjoys physical work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks follows training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including day, evening, overnight, weekends and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies including safety and dress standards.

Responsibilities

A Day In The Life

During daytime hours, you’ll work on the floor stocking products, organizing shelves, and assisting customers with questions or locating items. Between handling freight, restocking shelves, and keeping work areas clean, the work stays steady making it a good fit for someone who enjoys physical tasks and a fast‑paced environment.

• Customer Interaction Skills: Clear communication when assisting customers on the sales floor


• Stocking & Merchandising: Placing product accurately on shelves and maintaining display standards


• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with store layout, product locations, and pricing

• Equipment Use: Operating pallet jacks, box cutters, and store equipment following safety guidelines

• Physical Capability: Comfort with frequent lifting, carrying, and movement, including lifting up to 60 lbs.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers following training and safety guidelines


• Basic math and communication skills required


• Availability to work flexible shifts including daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays


• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards


• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred
