Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. in Boston is seeking a Night Stocker to keep the store stocked, clean, and bright. You will stock and organize merchandise on shelves and work with various approved tools during your shift to ensure an attractive store appearance for customers.

From time to time, you may also step in as cashier or checker, gaining experience across store operations while delivering friendly, helpful service to shoppers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Willing to work in freezer, refrigerator, and sales floor.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in work.
• Community involvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize merchandise on shelves to keep the store looking filled and fresh.
• Operate approved tools safely during shifts to complete stocking tasks.
• Provide friendly, courteous service and assist customers as needed.
• Occasionally support cashier or checker duties when required.

A Day In The Life

As a Night Stocker, you provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. You keep the store looking filled and fresh by stocking and organizing merchandise on the shelves. You work with various approved tools throughout your shift (box cutters, compactors, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to help you get your job done. The Night Stocker is the magic behind the scenes who creates that attractive store appearance for our customers through ensuring it’s stocked, clean, and bright. This individual also gets the opportunity to expand their experiences as cashier or checker from time to time.
