Job description

Overview

Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. Responsible for stocking grocery products, unloading trucks and ensuring that the aisles are kept neat and clean. Responsible for meeting customer needs through providing well stocked and accurately priced merchandise to promote an optimal opportunity for sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Smile, make eye contact and thank customers upon fulfilling requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Perform merchandising duties for the Grocery Department, including stocking product, pricing, signing, price changes and inventory checks.
• Return excess merchandise to Back Room per corporate guidelines.
• Unload merchandise from trucks and stock products throughout the retail unit according to company procedures.
• Follow all company sanitation standards for floors, shelves, and back room area.
• May be required to process customer orders as business needs dictate.
• Retrieve shopping carts and return them to designated areas.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Pay Range

$16.75 - $20.30
