Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Night Crew Chief (Non-Exempt) for the Night Crew department in New Jersey. The role directs and supervises all Night Crew activities to meet department goals in sales, profit, customer experience, and associate engagement.

Reporting to Store Manager, requires leadership and safety compliance. Essential qualifications include strong English communication, basic math, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, stand, and interact with customers while training new associates.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English.
• Basic math proficiency required.
• Able to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Able to perform basic computer functions.
• Able to regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
• Able to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Able to lead and engage associates to meet department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Night Crew to achieve department goals (sales, profit, customer experience).
• Provide prompt, courteous service and assist customers.
• Onboard and train new department associates in line with company policies.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Maintain proper stocking, pricing, and display standards; manage department organization.
