Job summary

ShopRite of Bound Brook is seeking a Night Crew Chief to direct and supervise the Night Crew Department. The role focuses on achieving department goals, coaching associates, and ensuring safe, efficient store operations.

The position requires strong English skills, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. It offers exposure to various store functions and opportunities for training within a leading retail team.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English clearly.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Night Crew activities to meet department goals.
• Lead associates to achieve sales, profit, and customer experience targets.
• Train and onboard new department staff in line with policy.
• Maintain safety, presentation, and efficiency standards.
• Ensure proper stocking, pricing, and shelf integrity.
