Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is hiring a full-time Night Cook at ESPN Plaza in Bristol, CT. The shift runs Tuesday through Saturday, 1:30pm to 10:00pm. Immediate opening with opportunities for internal referrals and a strong benefits package.

Previous cook experience and ServSafe certification are preferred. This position requires preparing high-quality food to standard recipes, portioning for service, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals and prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, and ensuring food is at the correct temperature and arranged nicely.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from area worked during service periods.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains high standards of cleanliness, and stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean, and ensures food and supplies are stored per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed and assists in production planning and reporting.

• Pay Range : $21.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour

Job Summary

Prepares food in accordance with established standards and ensures quality food service is provided at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.

• Serves meals and prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, and ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and arranged nicely.

• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from area worked during service periods.

• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.

• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat and ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.

• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.

• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.

• Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.

• Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
