Job summary
BrightStar Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for home care in the Berwyn/Chicago area. You will provide personal care, assist with transfers, and support clients with daily activities in their homes, under RN supervision.
Positions offer night shifts, days, weekends, and holidays with opportunities to work as much or as little as desired. We offer weekly pay, direct deposit, Daily Pay access, GPS scheduling, free continuing education, and a wide network with over 250 locations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Successful completion of a CNA program and CNA certification.
- Minimum 1 year experience with patients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.
Responsibilities
- Provide client with hygiene care as directed including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, and light housekeeping.
- Take and record vital signs and height/weight if necessary.
- Assist client with range of motion as per care plan and report changes to DON.
- Assist client in walking and transportation to appointments, activities, and shopping.
- Maintain a safe care environment per policies and standards.
- Respect and protect client rights.
