Job summary

Providence Swedish Edmonds is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide general patient care support and essential clerical duties in patient care areas under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

You will interact with patients, families and hospital staff, acting as a liaison when needed and aiding nursing staff with unit clerical tasks. This per-diem position supports a team focused on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Washington Nursing Assistant Certification is required upon hire.
• BLS CPR certification from American Heart Association required upon hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care support and clerical duties in patient care areas under RN supervision.
• Interacts with patients, families and hospital staff and may liaise among these groups.
• Assists nursing staff in coordinating the unit's clerical activities.
