Job summary

Southpark Meadows Nursing and Rehab Center in Austin, TX is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide routine daily nursing care for residents according to assessments and care plans. This PRN role covers the 10pm-6am shift.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with bathing, meals, mobility, documenting vital signs, and reporting changes to the Charge Nurse. Candidates must have a CNA license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and prefer experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.
• Experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident assessments and care plans.
• Assist residents with bathing, feeding, dressing, and daily activities.
• Carry out duties in accordance with resident care policy and procedure.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse.
• Detect and report situations that may cause accidents or injuries.
• Contribute knowledge of residents' conditions to care plans and report changes to Charge Nurse.
