Job summary

Flagship Facility Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain cleanliness of client facilities and ensure a safe, pleasant environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 6+ months of janitorial experience. You must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and follow safety procedures while handling cleaning equipment. The pay rate is $20.50 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6+ months experience in commercial facilities and janitorial work desired.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions required.
• Completion of significant safety training is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, ensure hygienic conditions.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
• Respond promptly to spills and cleaning emergencies to ensure safety.
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and objects.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with airport security and safety regulations.
• Assist in special cleaning projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
