Job summary

CCS Facility Services is hiring a Floater to maintain a clean, organized and disinfected workplace. Responsibilities include cleaning building interiors, floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas, plus restocking supplies and reporting unsafe conditions.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and adherence to safety rules. The Floater will work on site and contribute to a safe, efficient environment for commercial clients as part of a large US-based facility services team.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows and walls.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors in offices, rooms, hallways and common areas.
• Clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture; keep furniture dust-free.
• Maintain lighting fixtures, marble surfaces and moldings; dust as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling containers; clean trash cans and ashtrays.
• Disinfect desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
• Clean and maintain restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Wash and clean windows and mirrors; ensure cleanliness of all areas.
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs.
• Maintain a cleaning chart and follow safety procedures.
