Job summary

Kuna-Food-Service in Illinois is seeking a Class A CDL driver to operate tractor/trailer in accordance with DOT rules. You will deliver to customers, scan cases for accuracy and maintain safe driving standards.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, handling payments when needed, picking up returns, and adhering to Kuna policies. This role requires English communication, lifting, and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have current and valid Class A CDL license and Medical Card.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Make deliveries to customers and scan cases for accuracy.
• Verify products are placed in designated locations.
• Pick up customer returns as necessary.
• Complete pre-trip inspections and post-trip DVIR.
• Attend required company meetings.
• Adhere to safety practices and Kuna policies.
• Input data on handheld device.
• Collect payments from customers as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
