Job summary

Oak Harbor Freight Lines, Inc. is hiring local and regional line drivers in the Sparks, NV area. We offer competitive mileage pay starting at .78 per mile and hourly pay around $33.17, with paid time for drops, hooks, and waiting.

You’ll join a 110-year legacy with home nights on most routes and a robust benefits package. Requirements include at least 1 year of verifiable Class A experience, hazmat/tanker/doubles endorsements, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent consecutive verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience
• Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements required at time of application
• Must be at least 21 years old
• No doubles experience required - training provided
• Clean driving record – no DUI, reckless driving, or positive drug/alcohol screen in the past three years
• Strong communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management
• Basic proficiency in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations between terminals or meet points
• Navigate challenging road conditions, including inclement weather
• Consistently meet reliability and safety standards
• Be prepared to chain up as needed
• Flexibility to work weekends and/or nights if required
• Perform additional duties as assigned
