Job summary

Clearwater Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver for night shifts at our premier Glendora senior living community. The role supports residents with daily living activities while upholding dignity and safety, in alignment with policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a Caregiver or in related field preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Must meet health requirements, including TB.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular safety checks on residents.
• Assist and encourage residents in their daily living activities and respond to needs promptly and kindly.
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care is being given to residents including managing oxygen tanks per MD orders.
• Transport residents as necessary following safety/lifting techniques.
• Clean, complete laundry, and assist with all other community activities and duties.
• Chart and document information and report changes to a supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident alerts and emergencies.
