Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• US citizen and valid PA driver's license for 3+ years.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• PA Act 235 Lethal Weapons Training certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Psychological testing, medical, drug screening, criminal history check, and background examination required.
• 1-3 years of prior law enforcement or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus by foot, bike or vehicle to prevent incidents.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents; notify law enforcement as appropriate.
• Provide emergency first aid and request medical services as needed.
• Write comprehensive reports and maintain accurate daily logs.
• Enforce college rules and local/state laws.
• Staff special events with crowd/traffic control.
• Interact with visitors using community policing techniques.
