Job summary
Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Cage Cashier for graveyard shift (11pm–7am) to execute guest monetary transactions and maintain accurate asset balances within the casino cage.
You will exchange chips, cash checks, process markers, and assist guests with credit applications while adhering to gaming regulations and company policies. The role requires strong math and English skills with professional presentation.
Qualifications
- 21+ years of age or older.
- Prior money handling/cashiering preferred.
- Basic math skills with currency knowledge.
- Must be able to read/speak English.
- Must meet gaming regulatory certifications/licenses as required.
Responsibilities
- Execute guest monetary transactions within the window bank.
- Maintain accurate balance of company assets.
- Process transactions and documentation per regulations and policies.
- Exchange gaming chips and tickets; cash checks; process markers and fills.
- Maintain bank balance; safeguard cash cage assets during shift.
- Assist guests with credit applications and maintain credit files.
- Issue window markers and safety deposit boxes to guests.
- Enter markers, fills, and credit slips into computer.
- Assist guests with inquiries and advise on promotions.
- Maintain professional appearance and fully stocked work stations.
- Standing for the majority of the shift is required.
- Perform supervisor duties.
