Qualifications

• Current CA RN licensure.
• One year RN experience in acute medical-surgical or telemetry unit within the last five years.
• BLS certification - American Heart Association
• ACLS certification - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Assessment: Performs total body and system assessment each shift according to unit standards.
• Care of Patient: Including planning, implementing, evaluating and educating.
• Clinical/Technical Skills: Utilizes technology, procedures, protocols, standards and interventions specific to assigned unit.
• Documentation: Performs legible, timely, concise and accurate documentation.
• Leadership: Accepts responsibility and accountability for own decisions and behaviors.
• Precepting/Mentoring: Participates in orientation of new staff and mentors students.
