Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Blauvelt, NY is seeking a Brake Technician for the night shift. You will service delivery vans with scheduled preventative maintenance at client sites, including oil changes, tire services, and brake repairs.

You may train to perform advanced repairs and state inspections, with initial training possibly in a customer retail environment before working on client sites. A valid driver's license and 1+ year automotive experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs and maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site.
• Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, and tire installation.
• Learn/train to do advanced repairs and state inspections.
• Training for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site.
