Job summary

The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place in Williamsburg, Virginia is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate II for the night shift. You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse, monitor patient behavior, and provide direct patient care on site.

Responsibilities include safety checks, observation of patients, assisting with daily living activities, and participation in treatment groups as needed. Requires CPR/de-escalation certification and prior BHA experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least one year experience as a Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) required.
• One or more years’ experience with the facility population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and provide a structured, supportive environment under supervision.
• Maintain constant supervision and assist with activities of daily living.
• Record vitals and notify RN of significant changes; participate in crisis de-escalation when needed.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent

One year experience as a BHA

Experience with the population served
