Great Lakes Cheese is seeking a Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technician to support the overall Food Safety Plan through monitoring, record reviews and inspections in a lab and production environment.
You will perform verification inspections, environmental monitoring swabs, temperature checks, label reviews, data entry, and ensure GMP and Safe Quality Food program compliance. This role requires accuracy and cross‑functional collaboration.

The Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technician supports the overall Food Safety Plan through monitoring, record/product review and inspections.
Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands.
Hair nets, ear plugs/muffs, hardhats, and/or safety glasses may be required.
Work is performed in a lab setting.
Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
Work in a fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 60-80 degrees F.
