Job summary

General Hotels Corporation is seeking a part-time Night Auditor for the Tru by Hilton, Lawrence hotel, to balance and audit room and food & beverage revenue, cashier's reports, guest and house accounts, and other revenue. Prepare nightly reports and ensure accuracy.

The position requires open availability for night shifts and the ability to handle guest interactions, reservations, and hotel systems during late hours.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Hotel or similar position experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Hospitality-oriented demeanor required.
• Professional, positive attitude and guest focus.
• Excellent phone and computer skills.
• Ability to work overnight on a part-time basis.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Monday and Tuesday nights are required.

Job description

General Hotels Corporation is seeking a skilled Part-time Night Auditor to join our team at the Tru by Hilton, Lawrence hotel. The Night Auditor will be responsible for balancing and auditing the accuracy of room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier's reports, guest and house accounts, and other revenue. This position will also assist with the preparation of all reports. Must have open availability.

Responsibilities

• Complete and transmit accounting reports and supporting documents
• Act as hotel system liaison during night hours
• Perform all guest service functions as required
• Assist in booking room reservations
• Answer hotel phone calls

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required
• Previous experience in a similar position or within a hotel preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal
• Hospitality-oriented demeanor is required
• Candidate should be willing to go above and beyond for our guests and have a professional, positive attitude
• Excellent phone and computer skills
• Ability to work overnight on a full-time basis
• Ability to read and speak English
• Previous cash handling experience preferred
