Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Night Audit professional for the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort. You will oversee nightly financial controls, coordinate with Security and Housekeeping, and ensure accurate daily reporting for guest and revenue data.

The role requires hotel experience, accuracy with 10-key math, and strong verbal/written communication to handle guest and staff inquiries. On-site role with competitive benefits and scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform accurate 10-key calculations.
• Ability to deal with guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to adapt style to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily revenue reports by auditing POS tapes and journals to breakdown revenue, covers, tips, and settlements.
• Run audit reports from front-office systems and POS.
• Make corrections and adjustments; troubleshoot computer issues during shift.
• Input revenue/expenses/allowances into front office system to generate daily reports.
• Balance revenue and settlement accounts nightly and prepare for next day operations.
• Ensure attendance rules are followed and be available to work regularly.
