Job summary

Hotel Equities is seeking a dependable Night Auditor to join our team in Billings, MT. The Front Office role delivers welcoming, efficient service during guest arrival, stay, and departure, handling reservations, payments and guest requests.

You will process arrivals, departures, and questions, resolve issues, maintain records, and coordinate with housekeeping and other departments. The position requires a high school diploma and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior hotel/front desk experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.
• Basic computer and cash-handling abilities.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with friendly, professional service.

• Respond to questions and resolve concerns promptly.
• Escalate issues to management when needed.
• Maintain accurate guest information and shift records.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.

Pay Range

Starting from USD $18.00/Hr.

Shifts

• Both Full-time and Part-time shifts available

Job Purpose

The Front Office position is responsible for delivering welcoming, efficient, and professional service throughout the guest arrival, stay, and departure experience. This position assists guests with requests, reservations, payments, information, and service recovery while supporting smooth daily hotel operations.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service throughout their stay.
• Process arrivals, departures, reservations, payments, and guest requests accurately.
• Respond promptly to questions, concerns, and special requests.
• Resolve routine guest issues and elevate concerns to management when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate guest information, records, and shift documentation.
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and other hotel departments.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and relevant guest opportunities.
• Follow cash-handling, security, privacy, and hotel operating procedures.
• Monitor the lobby and front desk area to maintain a welcoming and organized environment.
• Complete assigned shift responsibilities and maintain effective communication during handoffs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel, front desk, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to remain professional and composed while resolving guest concerns.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Physical Requirements
