Au Hospitality in Opelika, AL is seeking a Part Time Night Auditor to oversee nightly auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires flexibility for night shifts, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of hotel systems. You will work within a 24/7 hotel environment and may assist at the front desk as needed.

Qualifications

• Must maintain confidentiality of company information and guest data.
• Be responsible for safety and security of guests, staff, and assets.
• Knowledge of fire alarm and evacuation procedures.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Effective written, verbal, and in-person communication.
• Able to work a flexible 24/7 schedule (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Well organized, honest, and works well with others; outgoing personality.
• Maintain professional appearance and work area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee auditing, posting, and balancing of daily financial transactions.
• Provide outstanding guest service and assist guests as needed.
• Balance the day’s business in a neat, orderly, and timely fashion.
• Verify guest accounts and credit as part of nightly close.
• Sell and upsell rooms to walk-in guests and phone reservations.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel systems (PBX, locks, PMS).
• Be prepared to work nights and cover front desk shifts when required.
