HHM Hotels in Pittsburgh is seeking a Night Auditor to balance revenue, settle accounts nightly, and reset systems for the next day. You will also perform Guest Service Agent duties and help maintain guest satisfaction while ensuring accurate nightly financial close.

The role requires prior night audit/accounting experience, proficiency with Excel, and a willingness to obtain FSD within 90 days. This on-site position supports hotel operations across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Night audit and basic accounting experience or equivalent training.
• Computer knowledge with Excel and arithmetic skills is required.
• FSD certification is a plus and must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Balance revenue and conduct nightly audits and close procedures.
• Keep records of room availability and guest accounts in the system.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports for management.
• Audit and reconcile cashiers and cash handling.
• Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit card transactions.
• Input and update financial data into the BRAINS network.
• Check guests in and out and perform guest service agent tasks.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Aim to improve guest satisfaction scores and overall service quality.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits.
• Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports.
• Audit and reconcile cashiers.
• Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
• Input and update financial information into the BRAINS network.
• Check guests in/out and perform Guest Service Agents tasks.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous night audit/accounting experience or equivalent training required.
• Computer knowledge/Excel and arithmetic skills required.
