Job summary

Staybridge Suites by IHG in Overland Park, KS is hiring a Night Auditor for an overnight shift. You will verify cash transactions, assist guests, and help prepare the property for the next day, with an emphasis on accuracy and discretion.

The role offers $17.50–$18.50 per hour BOE, daily pay options, career growth, and benefits for you and your family. Prior night audit or guest-service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1+ year of Night Audit experience preferred.
• Ability to manage cash, checks and credit transactions accurately.
• Desire to work overnight shifts and provide exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions.
• Verifies room charges and starting cash in register.
• Compiles occupancy, guest lists, cash drawer, balance sheet and housekeeping reports.
• Submits reports to corporate office as appropriate.
• Monitors room availability and handles guest requests.
• Performs and documents security walks and follows emergency procedures.
• Assists with continental breakfast and guest services as needed.
• May be required to make management decisions in the supervisor's absence.

SUMMARY

Computes, records, and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
• Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
• Makes daily deposits (as applicable)
• Verifies room charges and rates; verifies register has appropriate starting cash
• Manages daily paperwork including occupancy report, guest list, cash drawer summary, balance sheet, account summary, history file, and housekeeping report
• Submits reports to corporate office as appropriate
• Monitors room availability
• Blocks rooms and handles guest requests
• Performs and documents security walks on a regular basis
• Has a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and implementation of procedures
• Prepares continental breakfast on time; replenishes breakfast items as needed
• Performs duties of a Guest Service Agent, including laundry functions as directed
• May be required to make management decisions in manager’s absence
• All other duties as assigned

• 6 months – 1+ year of Night Audit experience preferred
• Desire to work overnight shifts
• Ability to keep accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
• Ability to manage and keep accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
