A leading hospitality management group is seeking a Night Auditor to manage financial activities during night shifts. Responsibilities include posting charges, balancing accounts, and preparing reports. The role requires attention to detail and excellent customer service skills, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with hotel regulations.
We are looking for a Night Auditor to prepare a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities reflecting the hotel’s daily financial totals. This person will post room charges and taxes to guest accounts, including any additional guest transactions. They will also comply with and maintain files and reset systems for next day operations/functions. Hours are 11pm to 7am.
Regular attendance is essential for this position. Employees with irregular attendance may face disciplinary action, including termination.
Due to the hospitality industry's nature, employees may need to work varying schedules and holidays to meet hotel business needs.
All employees must comply with hotel rules and regulations for safe and efficient operations. Violations may result in disciplinary action or termination.
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school graduation or other relevant training or experience providing the necessary skills and knowledge.
Indoor environment with protection from weather but not temperature changes. Physical activities include standing for long periods, walking, talking, seeing, hearing, reaching, bending, grasping, and holding. Repetitive motion of hands, fingers, and wrists due to computer use. Working all night hours. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Maintaining cleanliness and personal hygiene is essential. Neatness, moderation, and good taste in dress and manner contribute to the professional image. Well-groomed, businesslike attire is required at all times.
